has been appointed as the new Chairman Railway Board and ex-officio Principal
Secretary to the Government of India vice Shri V.K. Agarwal. Shri Ashok
Kumar is presently serving as Member, Mechanical in the Railway Board.

will succeed Shri Rakesh Mohan as Director General of the National Council
of Applied Economic Research. Shri Bery is presently the lead economist
for Brazil in the World Bank at Washington. He was earlier special consultant
to the RBI governor.

Malaysia. Shamsul Asar Abbas has been inducted as a Director on the Board
on behalf of Petronas. Shri C.K. Dixit, Executive Director, Indian Oil
has been appointed as CEO of the Compay.
